We built the firm we wanted for our own families.
Evenhold Partners began in 2009 around a kitchen table in Charlotte. Catherine Ashby had spent twelve years advising families at a national firm; James Whitfield had spent eighteen drafting their estate plans. Between them they had watched too many good plans fail in the gaps between the investment advisor, the accountant and the attorney.
So they built one team instead. Planning leads, and investments, tax and estate work follow from the same plan. Seventeen years later, that idea has grown to four offices and nearly forty people, and it has not changed.
