Marcus leads Evenhold’s investment committee and the research behind every client portfolio. He came to the firm after sixteen years in institutional asset management, most recently overseeing multi-asset strategies for endowments and pension plans.

His philosophy is plain: build portfolios around the plan, keep costs and taxes low, and let discipline do the heavy lifting. He writes the firm’s quarterly perspective and is known for explaining markets without drama.

Marcus holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and mentors students in a university investment fund program.
